The Bone

A giant, toy-like dog is positioned at the corner of the site looking up towards the roof where it descries the object of it´s interest – a large bone. Both the bone and the dog have the same colour – at closer inspection it becomes obvious that the dog is even build out of the same form as the bone. He is physically shaped by it´s desire….
The work creates a dynamic between the site in front of the entrance and the building itself. The gaze is drawn away from the entrance towards the roof; a permanent suspense is build up. This image of desire is familiar to everyone – it is humorous and engaging at the same time.
