inges idee are the four artists Hans Hemmert, Axel Lieber, Thomas A. Schmidt and Georg Zey. Since the collective was founded in 1992 they work together exclusively in the field of art in public space. At the same time all of the four follow their individual practice as artists.

The exhibition Von Straßenhasen und tanzenden Strommasten brings together diverse media that provide a magical insight into the working processes of inges idee: The group´s Berlin studio is partially implanted in the exhibition space in the Atelier- und Galeriehaus Defet and dozens of models, sketches, posters, competition dossiers as well as digital designs and short films allow the multiple brains of the four artists to be experienced in fascinating breadth and depth.
